Joanna Salerno began as a Spiritual Director after being trained at St. Thomas University. From there she led women’s growth groups, grief groups and healing prayer groups in the Ft. Lauderdale area eventually becoming a licensed massage therapist in 2004. With over 17 years experience of empowering, healing and guiding her clients, Joanna devotes her heart and soul to providing a space of healing without judgement or condemnation, but instead creates a space of pure love and light allowing her clients to heal emotionally, physically and spiritually.

Ascension Healing Center – Cancellation & Deposit Policy

At Ascension Healing Center, we honor your time, energy, and healing journey—and ask the same in return. To create a harmonious experience for all, we have established the following cancellation and deposit policies:

✦ Services 

Payment is due at booking to confirm your session. Reschedules require 24 hours notice. Cancel at least 36 hours in advance to avoid a 50% fee. No refunds for no-shows or same-day cancellations. 

We understand that life happens—please contact Ascension directly if you experience an emergency. We will be happy to work with you.

✦ Events, Workshops, and Special Sessions

To reserve your place, payment is required for most events. If you cancel 48 hours or more in advance, we’re happy to offer a credit toward a future gathering. Cancellations within 48 hours are non-refundable, unless we can fill your spot from the waitlist. For donation-based events, there’s no required fee, but we kindly ask that you let us know if you can’t attend so we can offer your space to someone else.

✦ Late Arrivals

• Sessions will end at the scheduled time to respect the next client’s appointment.
• If you arrive more than 15 minutes late, it may be considered a no-show and subject to a cancellation fee.
